Robotics Summer Camp
LiveWire co-hosted a week-long Robotics Summer Camp for students aged 10-14. Campers worked with VEX robots in teams of 2 or 3 to accomplish two very different tasks: an autonomous bumper maze and a teleoperated game similar to Connect-4 called Conquer The Castle. They learned the basics of C programming, building, gears, mechanics, robotics industry, and what FIRST is all about. Participation in the camp also allowed 5 Boy Scouts to earn their Robotics Merit Badge. It's a great experience for everyone involved! Thanks to ISU for graciously allowing us to use their facilities, it wouldn't be possible without you!
