About Us 2014
LiveWire Robotics 3456 was established as a FIRST Robotics Competition™ team for the 2011 FRC season. FIRST is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing science and technology to the youth of America.
For the 2012 season, LiveWire was located in the Pine Ridge Mall in Pocatello, Idaho and worked closely with Team Haywire 1569. LiveWire operated under the guidance of three amazing coaches and was comprised of 18 students (grades 9-12) from all three high schools in Pocatello.
For the 2013 season, LiveWire became affiliated with the Bannock County 4H Club and obtained 501c3 non-profit status. This allowed LiveWire to become fully invested in the community as a community based and supported team. With this change came a new number from our rookie year: 3562. Despite this change, we have retained our previous awards and achievements.
We have been invited by the Idaho State University College of Technology Robotics Program to use their facilities as a build site and we are grateful to be in partnership with them!
